Finally I can report the major trackage on the TF&E is done.   Yesterday I wired in the enginehouse lead for Anniebird, and the Station Track at East Lavender.   I would like to splice an additional parking spot onto the ready track, but will have to pick up another toggle switch before that can happen.  Anyways I have enough fun with the soldering iron until I decde to tackle the engine terminal and the turntables.

Made it out to The Shop yesterday afternoon too, hard maounted the new saw and sander.  I have to say I love 'em! The saw is just as dangerous as the big ones, and all saftey measures apply, makes lots of saw dust too.  Have to learn the correct amount of presseure to apply so that the blade doesn't bind.  I was able to trim down 1/8 TEE with it and cut the timbers for my coking car project out of .060 and .1 styrene on it.  Discovered I had just enough scribed siding for two coke cars, so I will complete these, and build a pair identical in 7/8 scale  (Bascially its my 40 Series hopper with extended sides).  If I consider 1 car wrecked and scrapped, that will completely account for all 10 of the 40 series cars!

Two coking cars are done, look pretty good if I do say so.   They will move into the paintshop and get trucks and couplers tomorrow.  My Hobbylinc order finally came in, so starting next week I'll start knocking around on some 7/8 scale stuff too.  Worked a bit on the O scale 2-8-2, it has a cab now, trying t figger out where to go from here on it today.

Have done some basic scenery planning, and have determined that I can fit in a short tunnel between Anniebird and Midway, will make a nice viewblock to seperate the two modules, specially if Anniebird is being operated seperately from the rest of the layout.

Finished up the cokecars yesterday.  Painted, couplers and trucks.  One of the better mounting jobs I've managed too.

Started building Anniebird tipple.  The base is Plastruct H-column and io mitered out "concrete" foundations on the bandsaw.  The basic structure is completed, I built it out of illustration board and began siding it with corrugated siding I made from an oven liner with ny trusty paper crimper.
