GB&W timetables

what a way to run a railroad

Apparently, one thing seems to have always characterized the Green Bay and Western (and it's earlier incarnations): a seemingly flippant attitude toward published schedules. Rarely did trains follow the timetables; however there were reasons for this, especially having to do with inconsistent car ferry arrivals at Kewaunee.

From the collection of Jim Kube.

The first timetable of GB&W's earliest predecessor, the GB&LP of 1872.

From the book "The Story of the Green Bay and Western", by Ray and Ellen Sprecht (1966).
