The first train we saw that day
was one with WC SD45 7524 on the point. This is a very interesting
location to photograph trains. |
This photo is an excellent one for all of us molders,
here we all can get a good idea of what goes on top of
the cab.
Next we stopped in Vernon, and shortly after we got their we saw this west bound WC freight with
WC SD45 7589. This was my first time in Vernon and I
would highly recommend this spot to anyone who is interested in WC Railfanning. |
This is the second unit in that West bound freight.
Now I do not only just take pictures
of just locomotives, I also take photos of freight cars.
On the e-mail news list for WC on onelist their was a
discussion about these cars. This one is interesting because WC painted out the old reporting marks and
applied the WCCL above the painted out numbers and the CL
is over the logo.

Here is a better shot of another car with the new
reporting marks.
Another freight thru Vernon.
WC F45 6653 was the third unit on this WC Westbound freight thru
Vernon.
The last train we saw that day was a CSX Empty Ore train. The lead unit of this train is a CSX unit.
