The Flower City Tinplate Trackers club of Rochester, NY has one of the largest modular layouts that I have seen and, I learned from one of their club members that they have the capacity to make it even larger.
The top row of pictures in this frame are the club banner and three overview photos shot from the upper level seats of the Dome Arena. Starting at Union Station (the first photo on the second row) and proceeding counter-clockwise are close up photos of the various scenes around this modular layout. Let's get on board at Union Station for a closer look at this layout. ALL ABOARD!

RIT Model Railroad Club
RIT Model Railroad Club's modular HO layout.
The RIT Model Railroad Club brought their HO freemo layout and a loop of "G" scale track with some locomotives and rolling stock to this show. Also shown in the photo of the modular layout are a couple of laptop computers. One was running a train simulation program and the other had presentation about their club.

The Twin Tiers N Track club's yard module
The Twin Tiers NTRAK Club is located along New York's Southern tier and Pennsylvania's Northern tier, therefore the name Twin Tiers. Their modules are three feet wide and were set up in a straight line that was fifty-three feet long for this show.

Genesee MODEL -N- GINEERS Ontario
The Genesee & Ontario Model -N- gineers portable N gauge layout
The Genesee and Ontario MODEL -N- GINEERS N club took the honors again for having the smallest operational layouts at a train show. I was amazed at how much detail was possible on the locomotives and rolling stock of this Z scale train. Both of these layouts have very nice scenery.
The Toy Train Collectors Society booth is on the far side of the arena.
The Toy Train Collectors Society's booth is on the far side of the arena from the location that I took this photo. If you were to enlarge the picture at the left, you would see a man in a red vest and engineer's cap near the highway crossing signal. This gentleman is Graham White, the meet chairman for the local Rochester, NY TTCS meets that are held each spring and fall. Starting this fall the meets will be moved and expanded at the Diplomat Banquet Center, 1956 Lyell Avenue.
