Notes: For 2006, South Florida Regional Transportation Agency has added a DMU-Trailer-DMU set, numbered TRCX 705, TRCX 7002 and TRCX 706. The 705 should be identical to TRCX 703, the first double decker DMU ever built. That unit features seating for 165, with an ADA-accessible restroom and Colorado Railcar's first straight stairways. The 705 will also feature the slightly curved upper level windows that were found on the 703 and commuter coach 7001. TRCX 705 and accompanying trailer 7002 were completed in the Spring of 2007 and shipped to Florida. They were featured in a display in Jacksonville and Winter Park before going to Miami to be put into service on Tri-Rail. |
