NYC 22

NYC 22, former U&D 22, at Oneonta. 22 was the only one of the smaller '20-class' locomotives of the U&D roster that were superheated. The U&D locomotives that were inherited by the NYC changed in appearance over the years. Among other things, it appears 22 has received a new cab as well as a new tender. 5/30/1936. Joseph A. NYC 802

NYC 802, nee U&D 22 and NYC 22, at Kingston. Among other modifications, 802 has lost her cow catcher in favor of a pair of foot-boards. Joseph A. Smith Collection.
