Death of Harry
Broadhead
Harry E. Broadhead, New
York Central railroad conductor, died Friday morning at his home,
116 Ten Broeck avenue. Mr. Broadhead had been a railroad employee
for 39 years, first with the Ulster and Delaware and later with the
New York Central when that company took over the U. & D. He
moved to this city [Kingston] about two years ago, coming here from
Arkville. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Lodge No. 807, F. & A.M.
of Hunter; Rondout Commandery No. 52, K.T. Mountain Chapter, R.A.M.
Windham, and Cyprus Temple, Mystic Shrine Albany. In addition to his
wife, who was Cora B. Sprague, Mr. Broadhead is survived by several
cousins. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at
the parlors of A. Carr & Son. The body was placed temporarily in
the receiving vault at Wiltwyck cemetery for the interment later in
Margaretville cemetery -- Kingston
Leader.
