On June 6, 1998 the Providence and Worcester Railroad ran a fantrip from Worcester, Mass. to Gardner, to Groton, CT. and return. The trip included rare mileage on the rarely used Versailles Branch. The train is seen here at Gales Ferry, CT along the banks of the Thames River Estuary.
