We first discoverd this rail fence at Old Saybrook, CT and later learned that this was a standard design used all over the New Haven Railroad system.  Why not use scrap rail the same way the prototype does.  Seen here on our portable O scale Pioneer Valley  Railroad.  Model Railroader photo by Michael Tylick
