The 2004 Democratic national Convention will be held in the Fleet Center above North Station, Boston. Security concerns will cause most of the station below to be unavailable to the public. These ancient RDC cars were moved to Boston from the B&M shops in Billerica, their first move in over twenty five years.. The ballast cars are included in the hospital train to fulfill FRA requirements for braking.
