Photo - Baker Street Circle Platforms

Baker Street Circle Line platforms (5 & 6) showing the station as restored to close to its 1863 condition in 1987. The recesses in the station walls were originally open to the street and provided light and ventilation. The brick arched roof was a common form for the cut and cover construction used at the time.
