WM 734 works the freight train near the coal tipple in fresh snow. Participants were kept out of the snow so no footprints would show in any photos from subsequent days. (1/16/99)

At Switch No.9 the Western Maryland Scenic leaves the former Western Maryland right-of-way and follows the Cumberland & Pennsylvania into Frostburg. WM 734 is swinging onto the C&P. (1/15/99)

A hot lunch was served in the Frostburg station and, after eating quickly, a few runbys were staged in the station area. (1/15/99)

We finish our trip where we began - at the Cumberland station at night. Thanks to Carl Franz for organizing the trip and a BIG thank you to Ed Kemmett and the crew of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad - they went above and beyond the call of duty. (1/15/99)
