From inside Brush Tunnel we see the approaching freight train. The photo line was stretched across the tracks inside the tunnel, with the locomotive stopping 20 feet short of the photo line. (1/16/99)

Consolidation 734 blasts out of the west end of Brush Tunnel. To achieve this effect, the locomotive was backed only a couple of feet inside the portal, then came blasting forward. (1/14/99)

About half way to Frostburg the smoke was dramatically back-lit. This was one of about 15 runbys performed each day. (1/16/99)

Sunnyside provides an open clearing for runbys with a long straight-away to watch the approaching train. WM 734 smokes it up through Sunnyside at sunset. (1/16/99)
