Our tour begins at Compton, Quebec, where we find St. Lawrence & Atlantic - Quebec (SLQ) train No.147 under potentially stormy skies at 1230. SLQ M420 3569 is in charge of the train.

A few minutes later (at 1255 to be precise) train No.147 is heading west through the rolling countryside.

At Richmond we encountered SLQ train No.394 heading back west with LLPX 2231 (former Belt Railway of Chicago) on the point. The train was passing through Windsor at 1720.

On April 6th we start the morning off right as we catch Canadian American train No.904 east of Eastman at 0732. On the point is F40PH 455, a former Amtrak passenger unit.
