I colored the rocks by "leopard spotting" various Folk Art colors on the rocks. The colors in order that were used were Clay Bisque, Amish Blue, Burnt Umber, and Raw Umber. I "leopard spotted" by randomly dabbing a brush full of paint over the rock castings. I applied the colors in two applications. Lastly I went over them with a wash made from 5 parts blue windshield washer fluid and one part Folk Art Licorice.
