Blythe, California was an out of the way stop for the Santa Fe before becoming part of the Arizona & California Railroad's domain. Residing on the South end of a connection from Rice, California, the end of the line is a few miles to the Southwest in the agricultural town of Ripley, California. Blythe sits on the Colorado River just over the border from Ehrenberg, Arizona. The primary rail business in Blythe is agriculture but also includes building materials, chemicals and heavy machinery.
