Sperry Rail Services track test vehicle # 143 at NS's Lexington, KY Terminal in December 2000.
A ancient crane on a Southern Railwat flat.  This was photographed at Lawrenceburg, KY.
Spotted at CSX's Lexington, KY yard in summer of 2000 is this exSeaboard Jordon Spreader.
this picture is of a small Fairmont tie tamper.  This as well as the following 3 vehicles were at Wilmore, KY on NS's CNO&TP main.
Here is a larger scale, heavy duty Fairmont tamper, the projection in the front contains lasers which help determine if the track is level.
Here is a Kershaw spreader, this is used to spread new ballast (rocks) on recently tamped tracks.
