The Canadian Pacific Railway Telegraph School in Montreal has now been active for one year. It currently has over one hundred pupils comprising 70 in the shorthand classes and 40 in the telegraph classes. The classes are held in the evening hours and instruction is given by CPR employees, who also receive additional pay for the invaluable services they are providing. The students are practically all in the service of the CPR, in and about the immediate Montreal area. Students pay a small fee which is refunded at the end of six months if they have attended faithfully to their studies. The company has just opened similar classes in Winnipeg this year.
