Pomona's former Southern Pacific Depot is now a major transportation terminal in the San Gabriel Valley, about 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Now a hub for Foothilll Transit and Omnitrans, and Metrolink commute rail, it is also a stop on both Amtrak's tri-weekly Sunset Limited and twice daily Amtrak California motor coaches connecting to San Joaquin trains in the Great Central Valley.
There is limited parking (free), but there is no agent, no checked baggage or any other services. It has no ticket machine, so you should get your tickets from a travel agent or from Amtrak. You can call them at 1-800-USA-RAIL, or visit their website http://tickets.amtrak.com.
