STR Relocation 2006 |

STR Ver II - 1970-2006 is on the move.
The layout is relocated to Elora and will take a new identity and continue on.
The dismantling process went smooth and the move was completed very well.
The rolling stock and most structures have now been relocated in Victoria BC.
STR ver III Is in the planning stages and will be centred on the Buells Creek Narrow Gauge Division with a STR line also in the plan.
The plan is to base it on the K&S and N&S lines Kaslo to Sandon BC. The sites of Kaslo and Sandon will be the features. It will still be the STR Railroad System in a small 2' x 9' x4' L-shaped plan. (Condo size).
The control will be DCC to enable the DCC controls of accessories (no panels) and the Sound to enhance the smaller scene. The time period will be 1897. K&S - Buells Creek Rwy and N&S - CPR - STR.

The layout is stripped - SG above - M on the left. The sides and some panels have been removed. |

Backdrop scenery is gone. IPM grade is exposed. All sections are separated and scenry cut away at joints. |

This is RJ yard and TP/FF area. |

At Marysville double trestles, bridges and scenery are cut away and joints opened up. Wiring is all separated at the joints. |

Sorrow Station and Stump-Gulch Yard are cleaned out. Panels at Sorrow and Elevated Cabs are removed. |

The Stump-Gulch east end of the layout is completely cleared. |

Marysville West end of the layout is completely cleared. |
