TRIP 3 COAL HISTORY
TOUR Wednesday July
25th 10-5pm
- Visit the Eckley Miners Village and learn how
the miners lived in the 19th century.
Next stop will be the Lackawanna Coal Mine, learn
about how the miners worked in this mine as
you are guided into the depths. Also you can shop in the Company
shop. Last stop will be the PA Anthracite
Museum explore the story of immigration and
Industry in the Anthracite region. Jamie Bothwell
will be your tour guide

the mine even in the summertime.

Thursday July 26th 8-6pm
- Arrive at the Strasburg
Railroad for the 11:00am train
ride; Departure time 7:30 a.m.
- And enjoy a boxed LUNCH as you view the
beautiful Pennsylvania Countryside.
- Lunch will be Chicken Corn soup, Cole Slaw,
Apple Sauce Potato Salad, and a Soda
