The Black Hills
Central once was an Tin miners prospectors route. Today it
is a beautiful Scenic Route.
This RR runs 3 carefully restored Steamers,
pulling some finely restored wooden style Passenger
cars.
This route is in South Dakota, it runs from Hill City to
Keystone. Pulling Engine forward to Keystone from
Hill City, once in Keystone the Engine uncouples from the cars and runs
around the train to recouple with the front coupler for the return trip
to Keystone. It is really impressive.
Today this train
was being pulled by a restored Baldwin 2-6-6-2 Articulated Steamer.#110
