This Whitcomb center-cab switcher was spotted behind a grain elevator along the Santa Fe Hereford Subdivision near Summerfield, TX (west of Hereford) during a trip I took to the Hereford Sub on March 14, 1995. Earl Needham of Clovis, New Mexico confirms that the Whitcomb switcher is still there. The name of the industry is Cattle Town Feeders, Inc.
