In 1993, a private tour company operated a special "rare mileage"
excursion train over South Orient from San Angelo Jct. to Presidio.
The train consisted of two South Orient diesels and four cars. The
train is pictured at the depot in Ballinger, Texas, during a station
stop on February 27, 1993.
