Ex-Rock Island SW1 536 was photographed at the Cargill grain elevator in
Plainview, TX in August 2000. Note that the
"patch job" applied to cover up the "Rock Island" lettering is beginning to wear
off, revealing two different versions of lettering applied by its former owner.
Note also Relco-owned Alco S2 switcher # 1043 lurking in the background under the shed.
