Following its restoration in Fort Worth by Rio Grande Pacific Corporation,
New Orleans & Gulf Coast 2-6-0 1744 made several break-in runs on the Fort Worth &
Western, including a charter trip for the Burlington / Rock Island convention.
In this shot, the BRHS charter exchanges diesel for steam at the Fort Worth
Stockyards on September 21, 2000.
