This unique switch engine is stationed at a Farmland Industries facility located south of the BNSF Hereford Subdivision main line in Hereford, TX. It appears to be an SW1200-type engine, albeit with some major modifications -- mainly to the cab -- plus the addition of remote-control equipment. The engine number is " 1200L". Photographed August 14, 2000.
