UP 9387 is on KCS trackage as it crosses the Neches River bridge in Beaumont, Texas on September 6, 2003. The tower at left was once occupied by a KCS control operator who was also the bridge tender, but these functions have recently (within the past year or two) been transferred to the KCS dispatching center in Shreveport, LA.
