Newest New SOO Line Yamaska subdivision.
Well I had to give up some ambition in order to get going. So here is my newest final version of the layout. the benchwork is already done so I guess I am commited.
This will be obviously a totally free lanced layout based on the Soo Line. Names have yet to be decided. They will reflect the names of the French explorere that helped develop the upper midwest. This will come later I guess
It is a twice around, two levels layout with both passenger and freight trains.
NOTE: This layout has already been changed to Three time around. This page will be updated soon.
All main line curves are 30 inches except in industrial yards.
All main line and coach yard switches are Atlas #6.
All industries turnouts are Peco motorised.
Future project: A three stall roundhouse and locomotive servicing, plus a helix to reach a large staging yard to be built below the current freight yard.
I should be up and running in the fall.
