| October 18, 1995 - Club founded by Fred Burg, Bob Hill, Fred Crane, George Huckaby, Fred Hutchins & Bill Kift. |
| September 18, 1996 - First international member joins, Toshisuke Matsumoto of Tokyo, Japan. |
| January 7, 1997 - George Huckaby elected first club President. |
| April 5-6, 1997 - First club display with five modules at South Coast Botanical Garden. |
| July 12-13, 1997 - First Great American Train Show display in Pomona with nine modules. |
| September 5, 1997 - First trailer available for transporting modules, after complete rebuilding. |
| June 1, 1998 - Clubhouse and storage for trailer acquired in Baldwin Hills, CA. |
| August 28, 1999 - Testing begins on the first Bowser 1999 traction mechanism. |
| October 2, 1999 - Club becomes major participant in annual Railroadiana Day at the Orange Empire Railway Museum, Perris, CA. |
| April 15-16, 2000 - Club assembles a first complete rectangular display, 19' by 22' using 20 modules. |
| May 31, 2000 - Club acquires second trailer for transport of additional modules. |
| August 4-6, 2000 - Largest club display to date at National Train Show, San Jose, a 22' by 27' display using 25 modules. |
| December 1-2, 2000 - 25th club public appearance at Great American Train Show, Del Mar Fair, Del Mar, CA. |
| October 20-21, 2001 - First club display outside of California, the Las Vegas Great American Train Show. |
| August 10, 2004 - Club invited to participate in October 7-10, 2004 HobbyVisions Trade Show, Las Vegas, CA. |
| September 18, 2004 - 50th club public appearance at Orange Empire Railway Museum. |
| October 8, 2004 - Testing begun of Bowser milled aluminum traction floors for the Boeing SLRV, Kawasaki LRT. |
| May 21, 2005 - Negotations begun for module connecting club display to the 20's and 30's Model Railroad Club display! |
| November 4, 2006 - First public display of DCC controlled subway line! |
| June 2008 - Club begins evaluating various flywheels and drive lines for new Bowser PCC! |
| July 16, 2008 - First operation of DCC controlled downtown trolley city loop at National Train Show, Anaheim, CA! |
| August 19, 2008 - Operational status reached on new City Trolley Line (CTL)! |
| October 26, 2008 - New DCC operated complete city streetcar line displayed at the South Coast Botanic Garden Show! |
| December 6-7, 2008 - 75th Club appearance at the Great Train Expo at Seaside Park,Ventura, CA |
| February 13, 2010 - Operation of two cars simultaneously on the CTL under DCC operation! |
| September 18, 2010 - First display of separate three module City Trolley Display (CTD) and visitor operation of display trolleys. |
| September 8-9, 2012 - 100th Club appearance at the Great Train Expo at Orange County Fairgrounds, Costa Mesa, CA |
| February 3-4, 2-18 - 125th Club appearance at the Great Train Show at Orange County Fairgrounds, Costa Mesa, CA |
| November 30 - Dec 6, 2021 - First club seven day display at the President Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, CA. |
