The turnouts come as rails only - they have to be
mounted on ties.
We purchased our turnouts from BK Enterprises. They come as kits, and have to
be mounted on ties and gauged to the correct spacing. We are using closed-frog
turnouts so we will be able to both use hi-rail and scale wheels on our rolling
stock. We are using American Models nickel-silver code 148 track, and the
turnouts use the same rail stock.
