Mert (center) hosted our "play trains" evening.

Mert Gardner - (L-R) Larry Diemunsch, Dave Pierce, Mert, Hank Worrell, Ed Claypool, Joe Balcer. Behind Mert are just some of the awards he earned as President of the Mideastern Region of the NMRA. Mert's layout runs all the way around the basement - each area represents a different town or place on the real Denver and Rio Grande Western.
