These photo gallery is dedicated to those
who like to see new things, especially new trains.
I beliave that when everyone sees something
new, it will bring a good spirit to them. And when you had a journey onboard
a new passenger car, it would feel rather special.

A brand new Harina
car is seen in early morning while being cleaned at Bandung station, after
arrived from Semarang.
This car was less than
one month old when photographed.

A closer view of the
car.
Look! No scratches!

The interior view of
Harina car. It looks tidy and comfortable, and it even smells like a brand
new car

In 2003, Bandung station
saw more new trains based on its depot than any other places in Indonesia.
In October 2003, new
passenger cars arrived from Indonesian Railway Factory in Madiun, like
this passenger car.
I decided to take picture
of this car, before anyone started to vandalize this mint looking cars.
Like what have they done to the Harina cars, where nowaday, they're looked
in poorer condition.

An
all new train: CC20341 (the last CC203 built, delivered in 2000) is about
to depart for Jakarta, from Bandung, with the brand new Argo Gede cars on
its back, against the backdrop of angry clouds.
This photo looked rather
blurry, because I took this photo in a rush, because there was a train
coming onto me. But when I stood clear from the rail (after I photographed
this train), it turned out that they didn't go to this railway line, as
it is a terminus line

Just one day old, the
'brand new' CC204 locomotive is seen resting at Bandung locomotive depo,
in mid-2003. It
was photographed just after its maiden journey from Yogyakarta, on the
night before this photo was taken.
At first glance, the
loco looked similar with CC201. But there are several differences with
CC201, and they're mostly related with ventilation holes arrangement
at the engine hood. Perhaps, the easiest way to spot the difference is
the presence of the small 'roof', just behind the driver's cab.

The side view of the
CC204.
Some equipments in
this picture are no longer present today. The most obvious being the sander
pipes. Although they're visible in this picture, this loco is currently
have no sander pipes, as they were removed within a few months of operation.

The CC20401 is pictured
beside an unidentified CC201 (from the last production batch in 1991)
at Bandung locomotive depo. Note the rounded edge centre windows and multiple
unit receptacle at CC201.
Both of CC204 and CC201
are not just similar. In fact CC204 is actually a rebuilt version of earlier
CC201, which featured more advanced equipments than those of CC201.
Note two railfans are
seen waching the CC204.

An Indian woman is
seen walking to the CC204 locomotive.
Alhough the CC204 program
was purely an Indonesian-American cooperation program, there were some
Indian involvement in here. They were mostly involved in computer programing.
Also, there was a report
that there were some parts of this locomotive that was built India. And
this Indian woman was said to be the first person to drive this loco,
inside the Yogyakarta Workshop.
