Today while I was out looking at trains and saw this Safetran Systems Corp. Signal laying in the UP Yard in Poplar Bluff, MO. I asked a signal maintainer who is a longtime friend of mine what it was there for. It is a yellow over red head signal with part of the base. He said it was extra off of a signal replacement project in the area about a 4 years ago. They accidently had one too many shipped to them and this one had been sitting leaning on the hood there ever since. So, he asked if I wanted it. Of course I did, so I loaded it up and took it home.

Looking hood and heads are all in great condition, having never been used.

The doors in the back of the heads look great and haven't weathered much at all.
