Model Railroad Layouts
The images on this page show some of the layouts I have designed with "Right Track Software" (RTS), a free layout design program once offered by Atlas Model Railroad Co. Most of the layouts are small and basic, and can be built on a standard 4' X 8' sheet of plywood. They are designed to give new-comers to the hobby a quick and easy way to get started.

For whatever reason, "Right Track Software" is no longer available from Atlas. But you can download versions 5, 7, 8 and 10 below : |

Click on the slide-graphic to view an image of the
layout, and click on the disk-graphic to download the actual layout file
for use with the Right Track software.

IMPORTANT
NOTES
All of my layouts are designed using the STANDARD line of track from Atlas.
Atlas also offers a line of track
called "True-Track" which comes with molded-on roadbed, but it is NOT
completely compatable with my designs
as some pieces of it has differing physical geometry from the standard line.
This is also true with non-Atlas brands
of track. So I cannot guarantee that you will be able to build
a number of my designs using anything other than the
standard line of track from Atlas.
All layouts are designed with a minimum of 2" between the center of the track and the edge of the table or board.
