South Tunnel South Tunnel is actually two tunnels on the CSX, former L & N line, between Nashville and Louisville. They are located a few miles north of Gallatin, TN. The two are separated by about 200 feet of open track in a valley. South Tunnel has an interesting history, as it was blown up and blocked by Union troops during the Civil War. |
