This is a free email group for anyone wishing to receive/submit information about railtours and specials on Britain's national rail network. Subscribers can advertise tours, provide information about timings, last minute alterations, cancellations, etc.

To send and receive RTN mail you must first subscribe.

Railtour Network (RTN) uses Yahoogroups. To sign up, delete the words enter email address from the box below, insert your email address then click on the Join Now button. You will receive an email with details of how to complete your subscription.

If you sign-up by simply replying to the confirmation email, your membership will allow you to send and receive RTN mail.

If you join via the button (or link) in the confirmation email, you will be able to register and use the group's facilities such group's archive, changing delivery mode, resetting bounces, etc., as well as send and receive RTN mail.

After receiving the 'Welcome' message, you will be able to send and receive RTN mail.

If you receive too many emails, a digest version is available which combines a number of messages into one daily email. Please see the Welcome message that will be sent to you upon subscribing for details.

The Railtour Network email list was created on 27th Feb. 1999 and used elists, which subsequently became Yahoo Groups. Due to excessive advertising on the Yahoo system, we moved to Topica (as RTnet) on 11th June 2002. A member of the old Yahoo Group applied to take over the original list's archives for research purposes, and this was granted by the owner (R. Cross). We returned to Yahoogroups on 18th Dec. 2003 due to problems with Topica.
