Boscobel, WI
Milwaukee Road
While going back through some slides I realized I had photos taken at
Boscobel from each decade of the 70's, 80's, and 90's so thought it might be
interesting to make some comparisons showing how things change through the
years.
The first two pictures show how Boscobel looked in 1973 while it was still an
open train order office for the Milwaukee Road. At this point the Milwaukee
still operated a tri-weekly freight from Madison to Prairie du Chien which
went out one day and back the next resulting on one train per day going past
the Boscobel station.
