A friend and I went up to Port Cartier, Quebec for a couple of days in late September, 2001 to catch the big MLW's and ALCo's working the Quebec Cartier Mining Railway. I decided to do some QCM gifs after this trip, and here they are. I originally had some repainted units on this page, but all have since been redrawn by me. Feel free to use these on your site, provided proper credit is given. Thank you.
**An addendum to the Cartier Story - The last ALCo Powered train on the Cartier was in October, 2002. A number of the big ALCos have been sold to US Interests, while others were scrapped or sold elsewhere. The motive power now is GE AC4400CW's - Gifs for the ALCo Killers are below**
