| Railfan Pictures of the Week - 10/11/2026 |
| July 5 2026 For 250th birthday of the nation, and also the hottest weekend of the year, Union Pacific Big Boy UP X4014 and friends were on display July 4 and 5 2026 in Greenwich Yard near the Philadelphia Navy Yard in South Philadelphia PA. Despite the 100+ degree heat, thousands of people came down to see one of the largest moving machines in the world, and for most it was well worth it. |
| The star of the show really had to be seen to be appreciated. |
| While the exhibit car had been open on Saturday, on Sunday only the engines were accessible to the public and the event was ended 1.5 hours early due to the heat. |
| Despite the crowds and weather challenges, it was a once in a lifetime memory. |
