Railfan Pictures of the Week - 3/17/2024

After Extra CSX U042 departed Lansdale PA on October 29 2023, the train continued its run down the Stony Creek Branch, here at the advance signal for Dale near Merck in West Point PA.

Just a few minutes and a mile away, the sky opened up with a quick deluge as the train passed under North Wales Road.

The weather once again cooperated here at the western grade crossing at North Wales Road ...

and as it poked its head through the landscaped Township Line Road grade crossing.

After being held by SEPTA for almost an hour, they finally got the signal at Elm Street and here are exiting SEPTA rails at CP Ford heading for the Morrisville Line Connecting Track, the Morrisville Line, the Wood Connecting Track, once again crossing over SEPTA at Wood to CP TL where they would be back on the home rails of the CSX Trenton Line.
