| After decades of revenue service and the last four years on the wash trains, SEPTA's AEM-7's and lone ALP-44 were finally retired and sold for scrap. The winning bidder was located in Morrisville PA, so on May 14 2022, a gray and gloomy day befitting the occasion, SEPTA Extra 52 took the motors on their last trip from Overbrook to oblivion. |
