| It is 2022, and the last operating C39-8 in North America spends most of its days resting, as it was on this day, January 9 2022. |

| But as things do, things happen and two days later when SD40-2W PN 5342 developed problems, it was time to wake up the beast, PN 8212. |
 |
| SD40-2W 5315 would be doing the shifting once they arrived at Lansdale Warehouse on the Doylestown Branch. |
 |
| PN W230 is following the northbound SEPTA at CP Land, but only as far as the warehouse. |
 |
| Tonight's W230 will not go to Warminster, so after they return to CP Dale, it will be back in the yard and done for the night. |
 |
| The next morning the pair are still together, giving hope that maybe PN 8212 will get more hours. |
