Amtrak Keystone Corridor St Davids Station St Davids PA May 29 2020 |
After sitting in Philadelphia's Penn Coach Yard for a couple months, the new Acela 21 finally got out and stretched its legs on the Keystone Corridor. The first run was on May 28 2020 out to Thorndale and back, in the rain of course, and the next day it went all the way to Lancaster before turning. It ran Track 1 on the way east through St. Davids which meant an in-your-face shot for many who went out to catch it and set up on the sunny side of the tracks. The east facing power car on Set # 2 is AMTK 2103 ... |
while the west facing power car is 2102, who looks just a little bit demonic with its red marker lights. |
Last view for a while as it leans into the curve heading back to Philadelphia. It is scheduled to run down to Washington DC in the next few days and was hoping to get a few shots in the yard before its departure, but due to the rioting, the city is closed indefinitely. |
