Railfan Pictures of the Week - 04/21/2019 |
Amtrak Northeast Corridor Eddington Station Bensalem PA April 9 2019 |
My usual vantage point is trackside at grade, but occasionally it is good to get a little elevation. Fortunately Eddington Station is at the Street Road overpass, which gives a decent view facing railroad east (compass north). This lunch starts with the arrival of CSAO FJ-10 with a couple bulkhead flats with steel products and a few tank cars for the last two customers on the siding. |
The inbound SEPTA local passes by (and bypasses) Eddington. Only half the trains stop there. |
Running a bit behind is Train 91 The Silver Star with ACS-64 Veterans unit AMTK 642 for power. |
With the conductor on board, FJ-10 shoved back on the siding to do its work. |
Running behind 91 was Acela Express 2117. |
The last train of the lunch was Keystone Train 648 heading east. |
