| CSX Trenton Line CP Berry Philadelphia PA December 11 2018 |
| For the past several months, CSX local C770 has been hauling cars from its home at Woodbourne Yard to Manville NJ to be picked up by Q300. Before that, it was taking the cars to South Philly. Before that Q300 would work Woodbourne itself because frankly C770 had a lot of local work to do at the various customers along the line. Most of those customers are gone now; the site of Nabisco is now a Wawa, they have paved over the rails to Weyerhauser in BCIP, leaving only Silgan Plastics and Rickett Coleman is the only other customer left east of Woodbourne. There is nothing for C770 west of Fairless Junction, so seeing them at CP Berry is a special occasion. Today they are taking the Q300 cars down to South Philly due to congestion up in North Jersey. |
