Railfan Pictures of the Week - 12/16/2018

SEPTA Neshaminy Line, CSX Trenton Line and Amtrak Northeast Corridor December 6, 7 and 8 2018

Three days, three lines, three railroads, three push-pull trains, all within five miles.

First up, one of the fifteen SEPTA Sprinters on West Trenton Train 6325, this day pulled by ACS-64 SPAX 905, just after it has ducked under the Pennsylvania Turnpike between Trevose Station in Bucks County and Somerton Station in Philadelphia.

Bringing up the rear was one of SEPTA's 10 cab cars, SPAX 2403.
The next day, another electrified line, AMTRAK's Northeast Corridor at Cornwells Heights Station, and it is Keystone Train 645 with ACS-64 AMTK 625 pulling toward Philadelphia ...
but where you would usually find one of AMTRAK's converted Metroliner cab cars, instead we find ACS-64 AMTK 660.
On the third day, another push-pull but this time on the freight line that runs between the two previous locations. CSX has been experimenting with DPU on its UPS trains on the Trenton Line, and today Q032 is led by ES44AC-H CSX 715 ...
with ES44AC-H CSX 892 on the hind end.
