CSX Trenton Line Woodbourne and Langhorne PA September 11 and 13 2018

CSX C746 is the transfer run from Woodbourne Yard to Lansdale Yard where CSX interchanges with the Pennsylvania Northeastern. The operation features one way trips to Lansdale on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday nights and return trips to Woodbourne on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. The arrival at the end points is frequently in daylight, like it was on September 11. The route is via the NS Morrisville Line to the SEPTA Norristown Line to the Stony Creek Line when there are high cars in the consist, and via the SEPTA Neshaminy and Main Lines when there are not. This move came off the Morrisville Line at West Lang onto the Wood Connecting Track to CP TL on the CSX Trenton Line ending with the shove into Woodbourne Yard.

Power for the move is usually three or four GP40-2's, this time CSX 6214, 6211 and 6209.

Earlier this year the local out of Woodbourne, CSX C770, was making runs down to South Philadelphia to drop off cars but recently the operation has changed. Now instead they are taking the cars down to the siding at CP Berry where they run around the train and then head to Manville Yard in North Jersey. On this run, C770 here at Langhorne has the same power as C746 did two days earlier, just turned.
