CSX Trenton Line CP Berry Philadelphia PA December 15 2017

CSX has been running double stacks between CP River and CP Woodbourne on the Trenton Line for a few years now, but usually they are nocturnal, so it is a rarity to see one like Q272 here in the daylight.
The power desk made sure that the train would have plenty of muscle to move it with CSX 5237 in Dark Future paint leading 3337 in How Tomorrow Moves paint and CSX 246 in Bright Future paint.
The train paused just west of Southampton Road for less than 10 minutes before getting the signal at Berry, long enough for the snow to arrive.
While the front half of the train was predominantly double stacked, ...
the rear was single. Since this is the first double stack I have seen on this part of the Trenton Line, I would not be able to say if this was typical.
A half hour later and the conditions had deteriorated considerably by the time Q409 blew by.
