Do remember when GE in Erie PA was cranking out locomotives so fast that they didn't have time to paint them? Years ago, both NS and CSX accepted units in primer, in this case, C40-9W NS 9384, pictured resting at Morrisville PA in December 1999. Numberboards and a quick stencil paint job and it's ready to work. For a modeler, this is probably one of the easiest paint jobs to replicate, and looking at the pilot, you wouldn't even have to be careful about overspray. |
